| why do you think the wrong cams are in your car? why did you leave your Z at the machineshop for 3 years?!?! The receipt won't tell you much, because the part numbers aren't on the cams. The numbers you see are probably the numbers for the billets in which the cams were ground. It is normal to be missing the pieces in the back of the cams because they don't come with them. Use a big flat head screwdriver, or grind a cold chisel to fit. What did you measure your cam lobes with? A tape measure? 4cm doesn't sound like you were using a dial indicator or calipers like was recommended to you. FWIW, the stock cams measure 40.405 to 40.595 mm. Aftermarket cams maybe offer an additional 1mm in lift on average. Call JWT like what was recommended, and get an exact measurement. Personally, I think you're being paranoid.
